Aisha Jumwa says that when Ruto dissolved the Cabinet and reassigned Duale from the Ministry of Defence to the Ministry of Environment, Duale called her while very angry.
According to her, Duale told her that Ruto was evil and inhuman, and that he had no gratitude because he had given his ministry to his girlfriend.
Caroli Omondi: Our leaders in Luo land have brought shame to the community by talking about very mundane and pedestrian things as if they are some gospel that we should follow ‘That Baba left us in broad-based.’ The political power of Luos is in their association with other communities. Lawyer Adrian Oluoch exposes Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro for insider trading, revealing that Nyoro purchased 30 million shares of Kenya Power at a depressed price of Ksh 1.4 per share in 2022 after acquiring inside information that President William Ruto's administration was planning to pump Ksh 27 billion into the company through the Last Mile Connectivity project and artificially strengthen the shilling, allowing him to make over Ksh 500 million in profits.
He further laid bare Nyoro's business entanglements with President Ruto, including a shared stake in several proxy companies, which have forced him to walk a fine line between his political ambitions and his business interests.
The lawyer also tore into Nyoro's character for voting in favour of the Finance Bill that led to the deaths of young Kenyans during the 2024 Gen-Z protests, while also noting that Nyoro conveniently absented himself from the Finance Bill 2026 vote by travelling to London to take a certificate course, despite having held over 10 press conferences criticizing the bill.
Musalia Mudavadi is telling the audience in Kakamega that, based on the 2022 election figures, President Ruto could inherit Raila Odinga’s votes, bringing the tally to around 14 million, on top of his own.
Mudavadi argues that about 4 million votes could be lost from that basket.
Very interesting analogy.
