Watched the STRANGER THINGS finale last night
SPOILERS: So beware.
There was something quietly beautiful, and a little bittersweet, about that scene with the four kids on the roof, promising they’d meet there every year. Watching it now, older and with a bit more life behind me, I felt the weight of those good intentions. You can almost see the future unfolding... they’ll meet a couple of times, maybe even a few, and then life will start to pull them in different directions. People grow up, fall in love, move away, disappear, or simply drift. That’s just how life works.
But tucked inside that sadness is a soft reminder: be here now. Be present.
Love the people who are in your life today.
Appreciate your friends, your family, the small moments that feel ordinary but aren’t.
Nothing stays the same forever, which is exactly why every day—and every person we care about—is worth holding close while we can.
My new year's observation.
Being a @themaine fan is truly top tier because you get everything from a 2-minute club banger about being horny on the dance floor to a 9-minute opus about living in the moment and embracing how even the negative parts of life got you to where you are now EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.
Dating someone who naturally brings out your childlike playfulness, makes you laugh, never stops flirting with you & loves you a little extra on the days you don't feel loveable is extremely important
Before you go to bed tonight whatever is heavy on your heart or your mind LET IT GO. Pray about it , give it to God .. leave it to him and rest . Don’t go to sleep with a heavy heart. Know that you tried your best and let God take care of the rest for you his way .
don’t take this lightly:
being able to consistently pay your bills, maintain a certain level of livelihood + security & finance even the slightest part of a social life off of the merit of your Creativity & ideas you turn into reality —— is something to be EXTREMELY proud of.
