Today I had the pleasure of mowing Ms. Durhams lawn. She wasn’t at home , but when she returns , she will return to a freshly mowed lawn . Making a difference , one lawn at a time .

What do these 6 kids have in common? They all completed our 50 Yard Challenge by mowing 50 FREE lawns in their cities for the elderly, disabled, single parents, and veterans. For every 10 lawns, they earned a new colored T-shirt, and once they reached 50, they received their black shirt—just like a black belt in karate—along with brand-new mowers, weed eaters, and blowers.

Will your child be next to take on the 50 Yard Challenge? Kids can participate from any city, any state—even internationally. We currently have kids in 8 different countries. Raking leaves and shoveling snow also count toward the challenge.

Our 50 Yard Challenge is open YEAR-ROUND, and we’re inviting kids from around the world to join us in spreading kindness, one yard at a time!

The challenge is simple: Complete 50 FREE acts of lawn care service, including mowing lawns, raking leaves, or shoveling snow, for the elderly, individuals with disabilities, single parents, veterans, first responders, and active-duty military members.

Earn Rewards Along the Way! Every child starts with a white shirt and earns a new colored shirt for every 10 yards completed. Once they reach 50, they’ll receive a special black shirt, brand-new lawn equipment (mower, weed eater, and blower), and a personal visit from me to celebrate their incredible accomplishment!

No matter where you live in the world, you can participate! Represent your city, inspire others, and show your community what kindness looks like.
