ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.
According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.
It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.
His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.
DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.
We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.
Everyone should be outraged.
I spoke with Mitch McConnell today for about 20 min. He apologized for not convicting Trump for January 6th and said that Lindsey Graham is a sissy who is too scared to bring Russian sanctions forward despite promising it for a year.
It was a pleasant conversation
At his prom, 15-year-old Egor Holodryha danced the graduation waltz alone.
His partner, his classmate Maria, was supposed to be there beside him. They had spent months rehearsing together, dreaming about this night.
But on May 14, Russia killed her in a missile strike on Kyiv. Maria died alongside her father and grandmother.
Egor refused to find another partner.
“It would have been a betrayal of Maria,” he said.
So while other couples danced together, he finished their dance alone.
This is what Russia steals. Not just lives, but futures, dreams, first dances, and memories that should have lasted a lifetime.

Ulraine's Kharkiv National Medical University has announced the death of 23-year-old Nigerian student Nnani Adaobi Marian, who succumbed to injuries sustained during a Russian attack on Ukraine.
After being critically wounded, Marian was treated first in Kharkiv and later transferred to Germany, where doctors fought to save her life. Despite their efforts, she passed away on July 5.
Marian began studying medicine at the university in 2020 and was remembered as a dedicated, talented and compassionate student. She participated in international academic programs, including internships at the University of Cambridge in 2024 and Turkey's Beruni University in 2025, where she expanded her medical knowledge and research experience.
Her death is another reminder that Russia's war continues to claim the lives of civilians from around the world who came to Ukraine to study, work and build their futures. Kharkiv National Medical University extended its condolences to her family, friends and classmates, honoring her memory as an integral part of the university community.
Almost a year and a half since I walked out of USAID's headquarters for the last time. I spoke with @NPR about the grief — for the 15,000 people who served faithfully, for the programs that were saving lives, for the brand of American goodwill that took 60+ years to build. And about the hope that it can be rebuilt. Full interview here: https://t.co/PpDI0BcaNR
This is Fatima, a sixth-year medical student at Kharkiv National Medical University.
Russia killed her today.
She came to the city for her university graduation. She was only 23.
🚨 BREAKING: Close Trump advisors have been informing him the likeliest cause of any “rip” in the Reflecting Pool surface came from him insisting the full motorcade drive on the fresh surface to “inspect” it before it was refilled, which he immediately denies to blame liberals.
Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep. https://t.co/jUtLu4cTaz
Just now @SecRubio said “we cannot and will not allow any cases of Ebola to enter the United States.”
That includes even American citizens infected with the virus and in need of treatment.
This is shameless abdication of what we owe our own.
And will make it harder to end this outbreak.
The White House is intent on keeping Ebola out, at all costs.
The U.S. is planning to send Americans exposed to or infected with Ebola to Kenya, instead of bringing them home for care.
Please read and share—this is unbelievable and infuriating.

In 2025, HHS issued stop work order for federal research lab that studies Ebola virus and other deadly pathogens and fired its director. This lab was a world leader in accelerating development therapies and vaccines for Ebola and other viruses. 1/
Ebola has broken out in DR Congo and Uganda, reaching the capitals, and @WHO has declared this a global health emergency. I traveled along the Congo/Uganda border last year, and the public health structure--especially community health workers--was being dismantled because of President Trump's demolition of USAID. This Ebola outbreak will also be harder to address because it involves the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola, for which there is no vaccine or approved therapy and for which even testing is complicated. And Trump has also withdrawn the US from @who, limiting the world's ability to work together to fight the virus. Uganda has a decent health system, but Congo's is a disaster and is complicated by war in Eastern Congo. Large numbers of Congolese are in camps in southwestern Uganda, and the US aid cuts mean that UN agencies are able to offer them less support so that the refugees increasingly are on their own and traveling more in search of food. If the Ebola spreads more broadly, then the cost in lives and money could be considerable -- so it's important to act early to contain it. I hope Trump will reconsider his moves, work with WHO, and dispatch assistance to the Uganda/Congo border area. https://t.co/J7MAf3qix1
Słynny hollywoodzki aktor, John Malkovich, oficjalnie dołączył do grona obywateli Chorwacji. Podczas specjalnej ceremonii w Zagrzebiu, 72-letni gwiazdor odebrał dokumenty potwierdzające jego więź z krajem przodków.
Korzenie: Obywatelstwo to powrót do korzeni – pradziadkowie aktora wyemigrowali do Stanów Zjednoczonych z miejscowości Ozalj w środkowej Chorwacji.

Russia dropped 6 guided bombs on the dam that supplies drinking water to over a million people in Kharkiv.
Not a military base. Not a weapons depot.
A dam supplying drinking water to Kharkiv — Ukraine’s second-largest city.
The target: Pechenihy Dam, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv Oblast. Ukraine’s largest reservoir — 86 km², stretching over 60 km along the Siverskyi Donets river. Built 1958–1962. Critical water supply for the entire region.
“This is the largest reservoir in our oblast and a critically important facility — for the city of Kharkiv and our entire territory.”
— Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov, April 14
This is not an isolated strike.
In March, President Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa warned that Russia was planning targeted attacks on Ukraine’s water infrastructure in the months ahead.
Today that warning became reality.
Russia has already destroyed Ukraine’s power grid, heating systems, and energy infrastructure. Now the target is water.
The logic is deliberate: no electricity means darkness.
No water means disease, sanitation collapse, and the slow unravelling of civilian life in cities that have already survived two years of bombardment.
Kharkiv has roughly 1.4 million people.
Six guided bombs. One dam. One city’s water supply.
This is not warfare. This is the systematic destruction of the conditions for human life.
