i stopped waiting for you to make time for me. You always had energy for everything else your friends, your phone, your plans but somehow never enough for us.
I kept adjusting my schedule around you and making myself available, only to get canceled on or left waiting.
I stayed understanding for way too long because I didn’t want to seem needy. I convinced myself that you were just busy and that things would get better once life calmed down.
But it never did.
This is me finally choosing people who actually make space for me. I deserve to feel like a priority, not an afterthought.
Controlling yourself from reaching out to someone u deeply want to talk to is a different kind of pain. It takes so much strength to stay distant when every part of you is screaming to break the silence. But what hurts even more is realizing that they’re just doing fine without talking to you too that they’re also choosing not to reach out. Like how you be able to contact other people but not me. So I guess I found my answer already and the half of me cant accept it.
Someone who acts like they don't need anyone has usually been forced to survive a lot of heavy situations entirely on their own.
They didn't build those walls for decoration; they built them because nobody showed up when the roof was falling.
You can't manipulate someone with high pattern recognition. They see the script before you even realize you're performing it. They notice the timing, the contradictions, the selective kindness, the convenient excuses, and the subtle shifts in behavior that most people overlook.
Those people who took your kindness for granted, disturbed your peace, and mistook your good heart for weakness.. God knows every single thing they did, and karma will not let it slide. Always remember: your intentions were pure, and God sees that.. That matters most 🙏
You can tell a lot about a relationship by what happens after someone hurts you.
Do they focus only on explaining why they did it?
Or do they care enough to understand what it did to you?
The difference between the two says a lot.
We all broke rules for someone. And in the end, they broke us too. We ignored the red flags. We stayed longer than we should have. We gave second chances, accepted less than we deserved, and convinced ourselves that love was worth every sacrifice. Because when your heart is full of hope, it's easy to believe that if you love someone enough, they'll choose to love you the same way in return. But sometimes, the person we bent our values for is the one who leaves us carrying the deepest scars. They walk away while we're left trying to make sense of everything, wondering why our love wasn't enough to make them stay. The hardest part isn't just losing them, it's realizing how much of yourself you lost while trying to hold onto someone who wasn't holding onto you.
Letting go is not a single moment. It is a slow fading of hope. Little by little, I stop waiting for what once kept my heart awake. The door I held open for so long quietly begins to close, not out of bitterness, but because my heart grows tired of waiting for footsteps that never come. Perhaps the saddest part of letting go is that it happens so gently, I do not realise I have already said goodbye until I no longer look back.
What if ang sinabi ko I am not ready to see you? I was crying because nasa lowest point ako and I need comfort while you were in other place having fun with other people.
Y’all don’t know how bad y’all really be breaking people, when you force them to give up on you and they REALLY LOVED YOU, that means at some point in time you crossed a line that made me have to sit down in tears & really EVALUATE, really PRAY, really sit in silence,
