@BrandSedgPokeGo @theverybest5000 Ok you got a good point here I (and many others likely) didn’t think about that overlap. I’ve never chosen the half hatch distance so it doesn’t matter to me personally but I can definitely understand if anyone else is annoyed by that change though

@MrAvalanchePoGo I think that if they put the starters in field research with guaranteed backgrounds and gave us extra special trades and extra daily free raid passes, then this would’ve been a pretty good event!

@SchaferQuest777 Ehh with how much luck I had during Go fest global plus the road of legends week I knew my shiny luck was gonna crash and burn eventually lol
(And even then, I did have some good shiny luck off of the wild spawns, so I think that makes up for my lack of raid shiny luck)

@theverybest5000 I’m a background enjoyer but I especially love when they have backgrounds in field research. It makes me want to go grind field research each day lol. Not to mention that I don’t think the go pass encounters are nearly enough encounters to make that “shiny boost” worthwhile
