Makes me wonder who is in on the scam. @yvrairport you may want to ensure your staff are up to date and aware of common protocols that people will approach them with, especially at an information desk. I imagine lost items would be a common one.

Left something behind on my plane after landing in Vancouver. I asked some flight attendants at the gate what I can do and they told me to go back. In order to go back to the plane I asked a man at @yvrairport information desk (near gate 51) who let me up the airport elevator.

I find it extremely confusing that the information desk specially for the @yvrairport is not aware of the lost and found protocols of their own airport and told me to just Google and fill out the form. Feel like he should also be informed of the scam to warn people
