BREAKING: Donald Trump gets disastrous Epstein news as top Democrats turn up the heat on the Justice Department to release details on a probe into the pedophile's co-conspirators that was "inexplicably killed."

This scandal is roaring back into the headlines...

"I write to demand an explanation for why DOJ has abandoned the women and girls abused by Mr. Epstein, Ms. Maxwell, and their co-conspirators, fired or cut off career prosecutors from the case, and ceased its investigation into one of the largest sex trafficking rings in history," Congressman Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, wrote in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The explanation, of course, is that Trump wanted this investigation killed because his name is all over the Epstein files. The two sexual predators were longtime friends and in all likelihood they preyed on underage girls together.

Unfortunately for Trump, the pressure to release more information on Epstein is bipartisan. Democrats and Republicans alike want answers and the moment that the government reopens there are going to be widespread demands for a full release. Bondi and crooked FBI Director Kash Patel can drag their feet for now, but in the end the American people will get what they are demanding.

In his letter, Raskin pointed out that nearly 50 Epstein survivors have provided information to Justice Department prosecutors and FBI agents as part of the sprawling investigation that resulted in indictments against Epstein and his right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell. According to Raskin, their testimonies are "precise and detailed."

"They described how Mr. Epstein, Ms. Maxwell, and their co-conspirators orchestrated a sophisticated and clandestine sex trafficking conspiracy that trafficked them to at least 20 men," said Raskin. "These survivors shared with DOJ and FBI the specific identities of many of these co-conspirators, how this operation was structured and financed, and which individuals facilitated these crimes."

Raskin described the decision to move the Epstein co-conspirators investigation from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York to the Bondi-controlled DOJ headquarters as "a sudden and dramatic shift in the posture of the investigation." Since the move, "the investigation into co-conspirators has inexplicably ceased."

"DOJ and FBI's failure to investigate this conduct is a betrayal of the more than 1,000 survivors of this multi-billion-dollar international sex trafficking ring," Raskin added. "As these survivors made clear to DOJ and FBI, Mr. Epstein and Ms. Maxwell did not act alone."
