$QQQ was close to hitting the 100 day MA at today's low but missed it by $3.5, so I think that it hasn't made the 80 trading day low yet. If it closes above 692 tomorrow the low may be in, otherwise I still expect it to hit 673 this week before we can talk about the low being in.

$SOXX has also hit its 100 day MA which is located just above the horizontal support of the May 19 low at 478. This is the ideal level to end the 1st down leg of this bear market and have a multi week bounce.

$SMH has hit its 100 day MA. Now would be the time for a multi week bounce assuming it doesn't close the week below the 100 day MA. If it does close the week below the 100 day MA we may be facing a straight up crash without a significant B wave retracement.

$QQQ - It looks like the 80 trading day low may be in after it undercut the 100 day MA with an intraday low of 668, but closed above the 100 day MA. We need to see a bullish reversal tomorrow by closing above 679.40 for an initial confirmation of the low being in.

One unusual thing about this decade:

The DJIA has been rising while the Dow/gold ratio has been falling.

No other decade has seen this exact dichotomy.

The last time stocks and gold diverged this way, in the 2000s, stocks eventually lost the battle.

Time will tell which trend will ultimately prove dominant.
