@KieranRyan321 Totally. Would be good to see him against these up and coming young managers/coaches. And maybe a club could appoint Arsene Wenger for the nostalgia!!
@KieranRyan321 Yeah, I don’t mind that idea in theory. There’s always a worry with him that it could just blow up in everyone’s faces. Would be box office though!
@KieranRyan321 Cup win was the greatest day of my life but it’s been quite a come down since, even though we qualified for CL. Honestly I’m not sure who would replace him. Ideally a manger who is tactically flexible and has proven can deal with 2+ game week. Left field but maybe Simone Inzaghi.
@KieranRyan321 It pains me to say it, I love the bloke, but his time is up in my view. Qualifying for Europe is surely the minimum target and we’ve failed. The PL season has been terrible with some unforgivable performances, and he’s proved again that he struggles with 2+ games per week.
@KieranRyan321 I can fully agree with that mate.. it’s what we’ve been missing also. Give it your all, compete in matches and even if you lose, fans will be forgiving.
@KieranRyan321 Didn’t realise there was talk of Enrique possibly leaving PSG.. he would be a great choice. Only so much you can do at PSG and he’s done it (and will hopefully do it again later!).
@KieranRyan321 Iraola definitely has a bit more passion about him on the touch line, more involved really. Be interesting to see how it works out, especially in the Champions League.
@KieranRyan321 Aye. I reckon you’ll probably look a bit more Klopp-esque next season the way he likes to play. He’s clearly a good manager, but it’s quite a step up for him and the expectations that comes with it.
@lee1892Johnson I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Agree completely, just wave at them.
He looked like he was loving life. I guess he’s the only one of us who’s got something to look forward to this summer.
@mdunn1977 Unfortunately not. 6th place can be Champions League if Villa win tonight and finish 5th on Sunday, but in that scenario the Premier League will forfeit one of its two Europa league places due to UEFA rules, meaning 8th is the cut off for Europe.
@CraigHope_DM It’s safe, it’s beige. It’s not going for
It. It’s not four games lef let’s go out on a high. It’s not let’s give em’ a game. It’s not let’s try and work £200m worth of the clubs investment into the team.
@CraigHope_DM It can certainly be argued that last summer was so bad, in terms of how Isak left and the incomings which have proven to be extremely disappointing, that the impact that it has had on this season is so severe that it negates any previous success in the transfer market.
