Planning on ordering Cooking Mama Cookstar to try it out for yourself? Might I suggest using my Amazon Store. It helps the channel out a bit and personally I think it's one of the best entries into the series!

I've always been pretty resistant to advertising... but a Cooking Mama game is the one thing I'm really comfortable recommending. I hope you guys don't mind it.
@Mortal_Nuke @vgdunkey Thanks! I'm still not over the Dunkey shout out. It was a really cool surprise.
It's kinda lame that the first game I get to consult on is this flooded in controversy, but it is what it is.
I appreciate the support!!
For everyone saying Cooking Mama is mining bitcoin: ‼️LITERALLY UNTRUE AND ENTIRELY FALSE‼️
Actively HARMFUL for something POSITIVE for gaming. The people who want to sink Cooking Mama want to make money from you.
Let me—a computer scientist who understands blockchain—explain.
I keep seeing rumours about there being a cryptominer in Cooking Mama: Cookstar, and due to its inclusion, it was pulled from the eShop.
After some RE work, I can safely say there is no cryptominer/blockchain stuff anywhere within Cooking Mama: Cookstar's code.
@meowgustave From what I understand, office create consulted with the new publisher/devs and their splash screen appears before the others in the retail version of cookstar. The game's credited producer has been with the series since 2006

@PurpockPartyBus@Stevoisiak From what I understand, they scrapped the blockchain details early into development. I was told that press release was intended for investors.
I can confidently say the final form of the game does not require an internet connection or tank battery life
@MorshuMmm If I remember correctly, the press release did mention blockchain. Not necessarily as drm, but a scrapped way to allow users to have a more unique experience... whatever that means
Blockchain doesn't appear to have made it in any way to the final build
