@OzAshborne I can see why your work got so much attention โ it really does look impressive! I'd love to make something that gets that kind of attention too, but making visuals that good is definitely not easy for me yet ๐
@OzAshborne Even if you're a beginner at video editing, having years of experience in the game industry and a background in art must make a huge difference. You already had a strong foundation to build on.
@TalesOfSeikyu Is this game set in a place inspired by Kyoto, Japan? The name โAo Arashiyamaโ makes me wonder if itโs based on Arashiyama with the name changed a little.
@slopa_io I see. So instead of having people manage it manually, you let the system handle it. In that case, once you've built the system properly, it probably doesn't require that much ongoing work.
@nichegamer Is this an indie game, or is it being developed by a studio? Whenever I see graphics this impressive, I'm always amazed.
I'd love to make my own game look this good someday, but I haven't been able to reach this level of visual quality yet.
@HeavyShieldGame I'm making a roguelike too, but I think yours looks much more polished than mine. I've been working on my game for about a year, but I still haven't managed to reach this level of quality. What game engine are you using?
@uniyori_gamedev This looks amazing! I know it's probably still a work in progress, but I think even people who don't know much about game development would be really impressed by this.
@SlashZeroGame I keep seeing indie games on X with incredible graphics like this, and I honestly wonder how people make them look so good.
I'd love to improve the visuals of my own game to this level, but I have no idea how to get there.
@koomen Did you use Astra to recreate New York, or did you make it yourself? Iโve actually been creating some of the graphics for my own game together with Astra too.
@dantemendes I love the nostalgic feel of this. Games really used to look like this back in the day. Modern commercial games can look so realistic that they almost feel like movies, but I still love this kind of old-school style too. I wonder how younger players feel about games like this.
@RestingRelic Changing the graphics completely changes the atmosphere! I really like it โ it kind of reminds me of Zelda 64. Is the game already finished? I'm looking forward to its release!
@clemmygames The floor collapsing as you go is pretty interesting! It might make the game a little harder to beat, but personally, I prefer games that are a bit challenging. Looks like a fun
@RandomGamesGen1 I see. You'd normally expect UE5 to have more features than UE4, but I guess some features were removed too. It's complicated. It would've been nice if they had kept them.
