Well said! Unfortunately, we've all contributes to a culture of speculation and profiteering in web3. The problem is that active trading and professional gambling are niche activities.

The demographic you want to attract, the gamer willing to spend without expecting a payout in return, primarily cares about experience. If blockchain can't deliver that, then blockchain powered games will remain a relatively small niche market.

@Tayored @GuildOfGuardian Yeah totally. I think all they have to change is to fix that, and apply the bonus stats to Guardians' base stats so they get multiplied by growth rate from en/rad

This past week, I had a closer look @GuildOfGuardian's affinity system.

The feature is supposed to give bonded Guardians a small bonus when they fight together, but here's how it actually works:

1️⃣ Affinity bonuses apply to all your Guardians

2️⃣ The bonuses apply to a Guardian's "Other" stats, not their base stats

3️⃣ All the bonuses add up

4️⃣ Bonuses stay unlocked even if you get rid of the one or both Guardians

Is it worth it?

Well...unlocking all the bonus will give each of your Guardians 44.5K hp, 3K atk and 1.5K def.

Not exactly a game changer, considering you need 15 diamond legendary founders to get them all.

Adding a meaningful collection bonus to the game is a great way to incentivize players to collect rares and epics, however. Hopefully, we will see a revamp of this feature in the future.

Yeah, and their primary market is the Philippines as far as marketing and partnerships go. They also started a lot of localization work in south America.

Mostly everyone except ripple, btc and eth is in the same boat when it comes to the US market, but at least the project isn't completely dependent on it.

We're all waiting to see how legislation takes shape in the US. There isn't a lot of clarity on laws surrounding digital assets, so it's a gray area for most tokens.

The team is going through legal approvals for their guild features and active staking. They say they are doing their due diligence. They have to be compliant in a lot of different countries, so these must be super complicated.

I don't see a reason to doubt them about it.

🚨Assassin's League Web3 Rewards Cancelled🚨

In case you haven't heard, the @GuildOfGuardian team suspended Web3 rewards for the Assassin's League event due to some bugs.

I know of two game-breaking bugs so far.

The first is that Salve's Soul Spite was lasting way longer than it should - making him almost immortal. The team has already fixed this one.

The second involves Atticus' Landmine skill. In short, you can use Aloria's Call of War to push Toktun into the landmines that spawn around Rowen to deal massive damage.

If you time it right, you can pause the game and kill him instantly.

This bug is probably what led the team to hold back the Idols.

You can still earn Web2 rewards from the event, which includes Calling Crystals you can use on this week's awesome Powerful Protectors banner to summon one of the original three Gen One Guardians.

The team's announcement says they intend to bring the event - and the Idol rewards - back at a later date.
