@kinjeketile@akams_@SeweS_ KPC IPO was 100b innit ? The gentleman has put in 42B first in equity giving him 25% of the company. This means it’s valued at 42 B * 4 roughly 170B
If he adds another 200b in there what happens fellas ? 💀

Yesterday, I saw the Uasin Gishu Governor, Hon. Jonathan Chelilim, pleading with the President to help revive Moi University. It reminded me of how the Nandis stormed the institution with their leaders and sang traditional circumcision songs at the graduation square after Hon. Dr. Fred Okeng'o Matiang'i appointed Prof. Laban Ayiro as Vice-Chancellor instead of their son, Prof. Isaac Kosgei.
They insisted that the university belonged to them and would hear nothing other than a confirmation letter appointing Isaac Kosgei as VC. Ten years later, the university is in a coma. Their son got the appointment they fought for, but the institution they claimed to own is now fighting for its survival. What a tragic irony!
The funny thing with this saga is Uhuru did not bother intervening.
I always wondered why.
Anyway, the results are visible for all to see.
The farm has already been leased to local power brokers.
A win is a win I guess. Question is for who?
Why are the ones who aren’t Sifuna’s more disappointed than us his supporters?😅 If he wasn’t appealing to you before, then why are you crying. You should in fact be happy that he has made a ‘’mistake’ and your candidate is clear to win.
NSSF holds the pension money in trust.
The law requires trustees to act in the best interest of the members: protect their savings and grow them.
In March, NSSF put about Sh38 billion into Kenya Pipeline shares at Sh9 each, in an IPO that was failing until State-linked funds rescued it.
Uganda’s own pension fund refused to buy. It said Sh9 was too expensive.
This week, a mystery investor moved Sh42.5 billion of KPC shares, at Sh9.02. Almost exactly the IPO price. Only three shareholders hold enough shares to make that trade: Uganda, NSSF and the Public Servants Pension Scheme.
And KPC will pay a dividend to shareholders on its register on November 30. On those shares, about Sh1.4 billion.
So NSSF must answer:
• Did you sell or not?
• Why sell weeks before a Sh1.4 billion dividend, at no profit?
• Who told you to buy in March, and who told you to sell now?
If a pension fund buys when the government needs a buyer, and sells when someone else needs shares, without earning dividends that it could have, it is not serving the workers' interests.
If it is established that the NSSF trustees breached their fiduciary duty to members, they must be taken to court and held personally accountable.
This is next level attention seeking. She would’ve been ok if it was just the women mad at her as long as the men were complimenting her. The men being upset stopped her from being able to call other women haters & jealous.
Shit be deeper than people know, this is Sick 😂😭
