I checked. Tangental stuff on Fibonacci in demographics and separately for lifespan stages, but nothing on the specific idea of Fibonacci-governed lifespan time series shaping fertility timing for population propagation.
I’m not sure if that’s what you meant or if you were just talking about population pyramid, which is why the leap hit me so hard because I’ve never thought about it that way before until now now. If any demography or math-bio people are reading this then here’s a free PhD thesis for you.
@colegarvinATL@celestialbe1ng Fibonacci sequencing the time series of a human life into fertility and population propagation is the single most based thing I’ve seen anyone say when this topic comes up. Did you just use that as an illustration or is there actually literature on that.
Mid 30s. 11 years deep. Yeah I suppose my response was more geared towards younger couples meeting where the less rationalising the better because they’re baggage free and youthful, and you have millions of years of trained compatibility instincts screaming at you in your peak fertility years when you bump into a right one. As long as you agree on the fundamental foundations from the start (ie both want children)
@RichardPtardio Gutted I missed out on being an 80s City yuppy with a soundtrack of baseline testosterone increasing bangers during liquid lunches. Made up for it in the generation after though.
@dwhes@qaulv Yeah it’s cope. Sitting with no shirt, a shitty fan blowing hot air at you and windows open so an entire encyclopedia of flying insects comes in whilst you’re trying to work versus pressing one button and having perpetual bliss.
@Cosmiccarebear@Sargon_of_Akkad I think my ancestors resisting forced conversion and staying Catholic under persecution experienced less of a punishment than blokes that end up being whipped by this lady
