if you run a startup, you need to realize that no matter what you are building (outside of hardware), you are now competing with openai and have maybe few years/months to arbitrage the time before openai just does what you do or allows their users to build what you’re building.

Run as fast as you can, before the time bomb ticks..bring your long term goal to short term, ship your codes faster. Esp many saas will become obsolete. OpenAI plus lowcode (like mendix) platform integrations (say for UIs) will disrupt the product building legacy.

2. Let no friends & family be in the above list.
3. Speak to them of the value prop and their willingness to use/pay.
4.Iterate.
5. Ask them to be ruthless.
