@Anthonys_Takes@jfberke Moving cannabis to schedule 3 does not make adult use legal. The new DEA registration does that for medical use, but not for recreational use. Recreational use will still be illegal, just in a different schedule.
@Anthonys_Takes Saying courts do not have to defer to an executive branch interpretation of the law is not the same thing as saying the executive branch is always wrong. Sheesh.
@V_arrell Yes, it needs better regulation. The way marijuana commercialization has rolled out is not surprising, but now we know there are problems that need to ironed out. Reminds me of early industrial monopolies that had to be regulated.
@Anthonys_Takes@kamaainagold It's a government plot. Both sides were pitted against each other, one a federal crime with a tax problem (280E), and the other cutting into that federal racket. Now, I suspect that was unintentional, but I can't say for sure. It seems like bozos on a bus.
I received the transcript from my trial on August 10, 2026, for the sacramental use of cannabis, if anyone is interested in reading it.

@Anthonys_Takes I had my trial yesterday. The judge gave me 30 days to file a post hearing brief, but said she would be glad to grant an extension. The court reporter says she is working on the transcript now. Quality is more important than timing.
@jamiecampbell@stoned_turtle_1 Isn't a question of the possible versus the imaginary? Any chance cannabis will be legal in the near enough future to stop full spectrum hemp products before they become a thing? I'll use them, that's for sure.
@KevinSabet Just my unrelated opinion, psychotic people also use medical marijuana. Lots of folks do. How many were on FDA approved pharmaceutical drugs? That's what I want to know.
@KevinSabet@jamestalarico If I could legally use marijuana, I'd agree with you. But, clearly, you are a fake. If you fought for the rights of users, you might have a point.
@V_arrell@jfberke I did not get the jab, either. But, I have no idea whether someone might benefit from doing so. Personal choice matters. Reliable information matters.
@KevinSabet@wapo Ban advertising. We let alcohol and tobacco advertise. But why should we let marijuana do it? Because letting alcohol and tobacco do it is insane, so that's why.
