It was Modi who agreed to reduce tariffs on American goods to zero.
It was Modi who committed to buying $500 billion worth of American goods.
It was Modi who had agreed to stop buying Russian oil because Trump asked him to.
But according to some it’s the opposition and CJP who are being controlled by foreign powers.🤦🏻♂️
The internet should help us find our people. Friendship. Community. A place to belong.

Noida-based astrology platform @AstrotalkApp has entered India’s unicorn club after completing an ESOP-led share buyback that valued the company at $1 billion (around ₹9,541 crore).
The buyback involved 100+ employees and was funded through the company’s internal accruals, giving eligible employees an opportunity to unlock liquidity.
Astrotalk’s valuation has jumped nearly 4X from its last funding round in June 2024, when it was valued at around ₹2,400 crore. The company reported ₹1,176 crore in revenue in FY25, up 83% year-on-year, and said it crossed ₹2,500 crore in annual revenue in FY26.
Astrotalk is the eighth Indian startup to become a unicorn in 2026.

Another milestone. Another record.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest Instagram reel has become the most-viewed reel in the first 24 hours, crossing 303 million views, surpassing the previous record of 300 million.
This is more than just a social media statistic. It reflects the unparalleled reach, credibility and connect that PM Modi enjoys across generations and geographies.
When the Prime Minister speaks, the world watches.
I'm not gonna lie, the @Meta layoffs are some of the most dystopian I've ever seen. They got told to work from home, they were sent the emails at 4AM in the morning. Those who weren't impacted have software on their computer that tracks their every move, preparing AI to take their job as well. They're literally training the AI that will eliminate their position as well.
Meanwhile, Meta is raking in RECORD PROFITS.
I am a massive, unapologetic AI enthusiast. Yet, this is NOT the future I had in mind.
I wish for Meta to crash and burn. This is not the way. Literally nobody benefits from this.
There is an invisible layer that affects many friendships in Bengaluru.
That layer is called urban and civic exhaustion.
Friendships don’t fade because people don’t care. They fade because the city quietly drains the energy required to sustain them.
The traffic takes an hour out of your evening. Work spills into what used to be personal time. Weekends become recovery periods rather than social ones.
You start saying things like:
“Let’s meet soon.”
“Next week for sure.”
“Once things settle down.”
Things rarely settle down.
What earlier required a 10 minute auto ride now requires planning, coordination, and stamina. You have to build stamina to be rejected by drivers on apps, to cross under constructed sites, to take long jumps over open drainages and collect dust on your face.
Friendships slowly move from physical spaces to WhatsApp reactions and Instagram replies.
The affection is still there. The intent is still there.
But the civic friction of the city sits between people.
In cities like Bengaluru, maintaining friendships has quietly become an act of effort. And sometimes, effort is the first casualty of urban and civic exhaustion.
Ok @IndianExpress. You did a good story. Now do the next part. Deepak Kumar did a brave thing. He is losing his income because of that. He had 150 Members, now it’s 15. Get details from him and ask him to open online membership. By the end of the week, he will have 150 Members from all over India. Even if they don’t step in to the gym physically. We can’t let a good man lose. You can run this as an Indian Express Impact story and win your awards.
If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.
Democracy dies in oligarchy.
Sometimes when I have a bad day at work and feel how this could happen...then I remember Mani Ratnam and Kamal Hassan made thuglife ... Happens to the best of us
Indian cities anyway give young people very few spaces to just be. Our public spaces suck. There’s anyway a lot of moral policing.
Here a 22-year-old books a cafe to celebrate her birthday, this is like the bare minimum.
A mob storms in, beats her friends, screams “love jihad”, abuses her, wrecks her party. These guys enjoy state patronage, and you’re left seething thinking of little we offer in terms of dignity to our youth.
Indian social media is a funny place... You yell and scream nepotism but cheer for Bobby Deol and akshaye Khanna after 30 decades of indifferent performances
