No point ranting without looking at your whole system.

Your universities need the full fees paid by foreign and foreign-origin students to balance their budget. Your companies need the workforce which is not available locally.

If you think your country should sacrifice both, then your economy would take a hit and your 401(k) would decrease in value. Interest rates would rise and inflation would go up. Are you ready for it?

Try to think about a systemic long-term solution.

If you guys want an amendment to anti-defection law, you have to spell it out clearly. You want to scrap the two-third majority to split a party? Nobody can "defect from party x to party y" without 2/3rd majority. However cynical you may be, you need to realise that MPs or MLAs also have rights. I don't think there is anything legally possible to prevent them from resigning and standing for reelection in another party. If there is inducement, that needs to be proven in a court of law. Do you guys think a gang in jantar mantar can declare them guilty?

@narayanantbjp Congress had different names for their alliance in the state level. MGB in Bihar, MVA in Maharashtra, UDF in kerala and SPA (Secular Progressive Alliance) in TN.. BJP should follow the same practice and have local Alliance names. NDA should be used only for Lok Sabha elections

RUPP (registered unrecognised political party) is not some suspicious category. Any party with less than 6% votes is unrecognised. As you know, in TN, even PMK is unrecognised.
BBC can do an RTI to find out what happened to the funds collected by these 6 political parties. Otherwise it is just mudslinging.
