The SEC is officially looking to clear firms in enabling regulated stock perpetuals to enter the United States. This is a major turning point for American markets and a step toward bringing financial innovation back onto our shores.

For most of the past decade, our innovation has migrated overseas, with liquidity, talent, and builders going with it. American participants deserve access to the markets shaping global finance. We welcome the work of American companies like @Kalshi to bring regulated perpetuals to the U.S., spanning digital assets and now stocks.

Injective helped pioneer decentralized perpetuals and has settled perp markets onchain since 2021. To date, we have powered more than $81 billion in volume across major RWAs, stocks, and crypto through a fully onchain orderbook that anyone can verify in real time.

As a company built in America, we have been working hand in hand with lawmakers to advance clear rules that let this industry grow here. Bringing innovation home means giving builders the confidence to stay and Americans the freedom to participate.

We are also building the infrastructure to bring regulated securities onchain. Injective Institutional Services is now officially registered with the SEC as a transfer agent, making Injective the first layer 1 blockchain with an affiliated SEC registered transfer agent. In addition, the CFTC helped to clear U.S. regulated futures for $INJ in recent months which today trade on Bitnomial, the venue that is also one of the firms to be cleared by the SEC to offer securities futures products. This builds on years of work across perpetuals and tokenization to bring more of the financial system onchain and onshore.

Perpetuals are among the most actively traded financial instruments in the world today. Treating them as a fundamental pillar of our future economy is an important step toward bringing that activity home. The same commitment to clear rules and open markets must extend to the next generation of financial products.
