MORE TRAGEDY IN THE GARDA FAMILY: It is with a sense of disbelief that the Garda Review has learnt of the death of Gda John McCallion this weekend while out cycling near his home. Brother of the late Gda Robert McCallion, his family have suffered beyond compare. Rest In Peace.

Today Waterford Gardaí lost Garda Dave Hearne as a result of a diving accident off Wexford. A highly qualified & decorated Garda he received many bravery awards for saving lives from drowning over the years. Our deepest sympathies to his wife, 4 children and family.
