@This_Liss @kramnotmark @stripe If each of these cost $5 per month is that the recipe for a completely balkanized social consciousness?

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@Angela76450036 @Ada_Palmer I have 20 pages left - I think, even with some mild criticisms, it was my favorite of the series and cements it as a masterpiece and something that deserves all of the awards one could possibly attain! Excited for more!

@joe_zappa @aripap If I’m in instagram I often find myself almost inexplicably in threads. They’re cross hosting and posting content to migrate people to threads no doubt

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@adamheimlich @JudSpencer @aripap Bingo. And we have litigated this and decided they are not allowed to mess with content (while no federal law, there are certainly state laws like in ca). I believe the TiVo court outcomes were less clear though.

Can someone flesh out a beastly net neutrality argument for why browsers aren't allowed to modify the content publishers want to transmit to users?

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@adamheimlich @BriaMo777 Roto Tooter

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@This_Liss they are all in service of the almighty advertisement, the most pure distillation of human desire that we have.

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@adamheimlich @ChrisHarihar i dunno i feel like he crushed this, how much free advertising is this for his 26 seat 21 and over magic show? that has the greatest magicians in the world?

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

"Hey, here's enough wealth so that you can do literally whatever you want and buy literally whatever you want until the end of time. Nothing is out of reach. Islands are in play." "Oh, in that case, I think I'd like to work for the NYPD and deal with unions and stuff like that." Said literally no one.

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@adamheimlich @briebriejoy not to mention I don't know a lot of billionaire heiresses who choose to spend decades of their lives working in the NYPD and sanitation 🤣🤣 in fact, has there been another one in all of human history?

[Gareth Glaser @garethglaserjr]

@aripap Don’t hate the player, hate the game
