@ChrisCillizza Most of the RW violence is by actors for whom conservatives don't accept either ideologically or functionally as one of their own (neo-Nazis, avowed racists), but many of the LW perpetrators commit violence in the name of causes that the left identifies with (enviro, socialism)

@bendreyfuss The problem with your analysis is that American conservatism has/had nothing to do with or associate with fascism/Nazism while the Left has been historically associated with socialism/communism/Weather Underground/SDS radicalism.
