Couldn’t agree more, Prime Minister. Coincidentally, this is the same reasoning why I sing the old Nation Anthem lyrics, “in all thy sons command”. The names of our places and the words of our anthems cannot be dictated to us by politicians- foreign or domestic. Our traditions grow out of our history and our common love of our land.

First Nation racism seems so normalized in Alberta that no one bats an eye to the vile racism towards us. First Nations have been saying for a long time that racism is part and parcel of the Separatist movement. And I have yet to see anyone in that movement call it out.
