Then I am confused at your point. Because any conclusion you draw to state Paul is an apostle you could as easily make with the latter day apostles.
Acts states that to be an apostle one had to walk with Christ. Paul never did such. Paul was made an apostle by his own testimony of receiving the calling from Christ.
If your argument is that latter day apostles can’t possibly be apostles then therefore Paul can’t be either.
I’d ask why peoples own congregations aren’t helping them with food and why they’d then expect another church they aren’t apart of to pay for their food?
We have Bishop’s storehouse but this is generally only for those who attend the congregation (you don’t have to be a member of the church).
@darlingstrawbie It makes me sad that evangelicals do nothing but spew hatred when Paul made very clear that judgement can only be made within one’s own congregation.
The teachings of Paul in Corinthians and the 1st Epistle of James make this very clear.
@ClaudetteGGibs1 Guess what. If nobody decided to represent them there would be no trial, they’d get away with everything.
Everyone deserves a good defense, even the most evil people. If they walk free it’s on the prosecution for not bringing a better case.
@BasedHoosierPol He’s a stronger man than I because I’d take action. I’m not quite sure that makes him a “cuck”, I quite think that makes him a stronger follower of Christ than I’ll ever be.
@jwheel0129 Hard disagree on this take my brother.
You aren’t wrong that the baptismal ordinance is null but it doesn’t make the ordinance any less special. Someone committing their life to Christ in our church, the Catholic Church, or any other Church is a beautiful thing.
For context, AI did that under 30 minutes. It controlled my PC, accessed Sony VEGAS and it finished something that would take me 2-3 weeks to do or would cost me $800 on editors. @OpenAI ASTRA is insane.
@moak_ryan I’m not familiar with any Christian denominations that believe the Bible is a literal text of God. It’s testimony of those who were among Christ.
You could make the claim that the Torah is the literal word of God, but I’m only saying that as a Jew, not as a practicing LDS.
@GraceKraemer Nothing but love for you sister!
I didn’t see your original post, irregardless I do truly hope my fellow Saints show just as much love as I. God bless sister.
