@Luke_ehM@LatterDayBean Baptism is amazing, I encourage it. Itโs just not necessary for salvation. Baptism through proxy for people who already died is a form of paganism in the sense itโs a ritual that appeals to a god that requires things. Where as God requires a belief in Jesus only.
@JoshuaKbooks@LatterDayBean Ironically you are laughing at the scripture. Baptism for the dead is NOT part of the gospel. Paul explains that in his letter to the Ephesians . Context is important . What was Paulโs reason for writing these letters? To address the church and bring them away from the paganism
@rebecca09478433@LatterDayBean We will see how that works out for you. I would not wish hell on anyone. Itโs real , you still have time to repent . Read the OT, God didnโt like Paganism.
@LatterDayBean@Luke_ehM Bro, I suggest you throw the BOM in the trash. Iโll read the OT. By the way there is a lot of paganism in the OT. And God didnโt like it then either. The 10 commandments ring a bell? It should.
@JoshuaKbooks@LatterDayBean I canโt help you if you read meaning into the scripture. Thatโs the problem with the BOM, it causes you to see things in the bible that donโt exist. Good luck, Iโll pray for you.
@taysoren@PetGorilla No He hasnโt.Your prophets are from man at best.
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. After Jesus ascended he sent the HS. Read Acts again . LDS are monotheistic pagans who need help. I pray you find the truth of Jesus and salvation that comes from Grace .
@Luke_ehM@LatterDayBean Baptism is a public declaration that you are a follower of Jesus . Itโs not necessary for salvation. Rituals to appease a god is what pagans did. Christianity is different, there is nothing you can do to earn salvation, it is by grace alone that we are saved.
