@Charles_Lister@FIFAcom What? FiFA literally exists under a global cloud of corruption. It is its status quo. They could have denied the request. People like you are only reacting like this because it’s the United States.
@smerconish Who cares what he did? It was ultimately FIFA’s choice. They could’ve just said no. How does the organization in charge of the tournament not have ultimate responsibility? Who cares what Trump says or does? He isn’t the ultimate arbiter on this
@TelegraphDucker Was this before, during or after the UEFA match fixing scandal? How about everyone stops pretending like this sport isn’t riddled with corruption from top to bottom.
@DefenceGeek They literally write journals about it. I don’t understand how people are acting like this is out of the ordinary just because it’s the US
@KyleJGlen https://t.co/wf74fuCVPb
There are literally multiple books written about FIFA corruption. People hate the US that much, including Americans themselves, that they act like this is the breaking point. The whole organization stinks and always has so relax with this nonsense.
@RandyScottESPN Just like MacKinnon and Cooper after the hockey gold medal game. Canada just lose with grace. “We didn’t really lose, we were obviously the better team”
@David_Moscrop I’m sure they were cheering for the US before this. All the soft countries hate us anyway. Who gives a shit who is cheering against us? Who does Canada play next?
@Arturmaks In this country, we are embarrassed to be considered a fan of the sport so soccer fans should already be embarrassed regardless of FIFA’s ruling
@RPMComo It’s not that we don’t see it. It’s that we don’t care about the sport. Our biggest grip with that call is that this sport is softer than baby shit
@SamMonsonNFL Just make it like college football targeting. Call the penalty, kick him out of the game, and then review the suspension before the next game. Do this for every red card.
