Going to be v interesting where the line of AI usage by MPs gets drawn.
Currently, guidance is that an MP can disclose if they want.
But what happens if MPs don't like AI usage of their likeness on the same platforms, after pointing out that they've used AI imagery themselves?
Think I've let it go on long enough now, I let it run because some people really showed themselves. The "rangers top" was an AI pic sent to me by someone who created it for a laugh. I could easily distance myself from it, but it's been really interesting to see the comments. My team are made up of people with all views, including hoops & gers fans who proudly wear their shirts. I'm not into football, but I'm definitely not into lumping all football fans of either teams, including those on my team, as bigots. I work across and with all communities, that's fairly obvious and well known. The starting point that all celtic or rangers people are bigots is wrong. Reminds me of the same mentality as people who give off about GAA tops being worn. There's a word for that. Its a completely stinkin way of thinking. For people who talk about bringing others on a journey, they need to start with themselves. Some of us are already on that road, it won't always be popular and yes it's difficult, but I'm not one to stand on the sidelines, I get stuck in. Most people live and let live and I'm glad that I work with and for all. No matter how many stones you throw, including personalised sectarian abuse about me and my family it won't work- why? Because this community holds exactly the same values.
Need to figure out why people place the possessive on travel.
It never is "my" flight or "my" bus. It's just the flight or bus you happen to be on.
Like, you're never flying the fucking thing.
Dear @easyJet
My flight EZY8205 from London Gatwick to Zakynthos on 27 June 2026 was cancelled by easyJet. On 30 June I submitted a claim, and on 12 July 2026 I received your response assessing it as a compensation claim and declining compensation due to extraordinary circumstances.
To be clear: I am not writing about compensation. I am requesting a full refund of my unused ticket under Article 8(1)(a) of Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 as retained in UK law. This entitlement is unconditional and applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, extraordinary circumstances are not relevant to it. The refund was due within 7 days of the cancellation.
I did not travel on this flight or accept rerouting or a voucher. I am unable to request the refund through Manage Bookings, as the booking now incorrectly shows the flight as "flown".
Please process the refund to my original payment method and confirm in writing within 7 days. If the refund is not processed, I will escalate this to AviationADR and/or pursue recovery via my card provider.
I have submitted this complaint through your online form, I hope to hear back from you soon before escalating this.
"I can go and buy a 35p donut versus a ยฃ4.50 box of strawberries, but it won't fill her the same, won't give her the brain power for school. It will actually damage her more."
Where in the hell is this person shopping? I'm trying to suss out which supermarket she's on about.
For many families, the summer holidays mean more than just eight weeks away from school. It can also mean a sharp rise in food costs.

I got the kids a 400g tub of strawberries for ยฃ1.95 nectar price this week.
I buy them candy floss grapes and freeze them because its essentially sweets.
I get the pre-wrapped little croissants for ยฃ1.50 (25p a pop) and throw nutella or jam in.
This morning, Party representatives gathered at the memorial to the 36th Ulster Division in the grounds of the Stormont Estate to lay a wreath marking the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
The reason Disclosure Day isn't resonating is the whole plot revolves around using broadcast television to change the world, a concept that anyone under the age of 55 finds completely unbelievable. The movie starts with a weather woman sperging out and making weird sounds live on air and that's meant to go viral? In Australian television that's any given broadcast. In real life the network would bombard youtube with copyright take down notices, no one would ever know it happened. Then they broadcast the government secrets to the whole world on one station's rig? Why didn't they just post it online? That's never explained! It probably would have been a cool movie in 1999.
Watching Derry people ragging on someone who leaves Derry, gains skills, comes back to Derry with better understanding than others, then gets ragged on by those who didn't do the same is peak Derry.
Isnโt a week a long time in politics!
From the comfort of your armchair at the weekend you commented on a still photo of me that suited your narrative.
I chose to lead. I chose calm.
I await your apology.

Violence and disorder is wrong and it is counterproductive. It serves no purpose other than the destruction of neighbourhoods and to turn the focus away from where it should be.
Many of us have spoken out before to highlight the issues of concern and we will continue to do so. If you are not prepared to make your views known peacefully and lawfully then you are undermining the cause you are claiming to stand for.
A scheme to install Irish language signs at Belfastโs Grand Central Station could now cost up to ยฃ3m, the High Court heard today. https://t.co/4eP5urNhIh
Tracy has been absolutely brilliant as Lord Mayor - and especially proud of her as our first ever DUP female Lord Mayor of Belfast! ๐ช!
Wishing the incoming Mayor, and all those coming into post across Northern Ireland as Mayors and Deputy Mayors all the very best for their term ahead!
Had a wee four hour flight yesterday and devoured this book.
Sรฉamas has this way of getting across how Derry people can tell you everything and nothing at the same time that just pushes you through the book full pelt.
My book Prestige Drama is out TODAY. It's a funny, angry book about Derry, memory and Troubles-scented television.
I think it's quite good, however I can *confirm* that it's quite short.
But don't take my word for how good it is, look at all these lovely people saying that.
