That’s a Winner! The Cardinals open the 2D Big Easy Classic with an 8-6 victory over Cretin Homes at Southeastern La University.

@Leaumon1Bronson (Br Martin) was 1-2 at the plate with a two RBI triple and made a tremendous diving catch at third base on a bunt in foul territory.

Winning pitcher @dawson_roussel (Springfield) who came on in relief of starter @DaneBodin1 (Lutcher) tossed an inning and 2/3 allowing only one hit and striking out four.

The team is back in action on Friday against the Boutte Bengals at Hahnville High School. First pitch is set for 4:45 pm.

They can't keep the good talent because they will chase money and they can't go get top talent in the portal because they don't have the money. It's a broken system and I'm an LSU fan. LSU uses it as much as anybody but the system is broken.
