As a teacher in a Catholic school, how can I not support fully funding public schools? I support my parish, and as a Catholic, everyone is a member of my parish.
The gospels tell us where our treasure is, there our hearts are also.

As a Catholic school teacher, I fully support my public schools. They are the bedrock of a democracy. It is the duty of a private school to raise its own money, not drain the funds needed to educate well the majority of our young citizens.
Oh would you look at that—70% of expanded Florida #schoolvouchers users were already in private school.
Another 18% entering kindergartners.
Only 13% came from public school.

All I have to read at home is research papers. Going in tomorrow to get a short stack of much needed fiction from my favorite librarian. Having your own librarian is like having a personal trainer for your mind.

Sir John Soane taught architecture, and since his students could not afford to personally see design around the world, he adorned his home with facsimiles to help them visualize possibilities. I need to do that with my classroom.
