It cracked her skull, many bones, and she died.

Hey @GovRonDeSantis,

My grandpa was transferred from a Florida hospital to a rehab center to regain strength.

However, due to Florida's guideline of having only one licensed nurse for every 40 patients, his condition has worsened significantly.

He receives less than an hour of physical therapy daily and spends the rest of the day in his bed with minimal care.

It's been a week since he last showered or was even offered a toothbrush.

They have messed up his medications multiple times.

He’s a diabetic and he's provided with highly inappropriate meals as his only option.

(Potato salad, cherry pie, cheesy broccoli, ice cream)

If he isn't able to return home within two weeks, his insurance will no longer cover him.

How is this acceptable?

The 1:40 nurse-to-patient ratio is clearly inadequate. What can be done about this?
