@HughMcsween 1 in 5 workers in Scotland are employed by the public sector, which the SNP gave inflation busting pay rises too, so this is a self fulfilling prophecy.
Donations to the SNP increased in the week Peter Murrell admitted embezzling more than £400,000 of members’ cash, the party has said https://t.co/8kC5ra3VM0
@TartanScot1@ToonDazza@JohnSwinney I believe one of the reasons the independence movement is so popular, is that a large number of people believe that utter nonsense you’ve just posted.
Exactly! If the majority of Scots telling you, in a referendum, that they weren’t interested in independence didn’t stop you pushing for independence, why would the leadership of the party embezzling 400K from grassroots members stop you?
While Westminster is distracted by utter chaos, I will always focus on Scotland’s priorities.
My government will deliver swift and urgent action on the cost of living - capping food prices, lowering the cost of commuting and supporting first-time buyers.
@red_trout@ruth_wishart No, I’m saying being part of the UK allows us to spend money on the social programs we feel are necessary. Being independent is cool too, you just have to explain how you’ll maintain the level of spending we have now.
@paddyb53 You can’t be that dumb. We’d all be totally fucked without England. You think there’s a cost of living crisis now? You think Brexit was bad? Well buckle up buttercup.
@Sultanspfc@bellacaledonia Maybe, but right now independence isn’t even the top priority amongst SNP supporters. The SNP want to talk about independence because they don’t want to talk about their record.
