Humans domesticated goats and sheep 11,000 years ago. This means nothing. Even pigs around 9,000 years ago. Either you are against eating animals or you are not. You can’t pick the one you like and call others barbaric for eating the others.

Again, dogs do not have the same relevance everywhere. I love rabbits for example. I cannot eat rabbits. Or dogs. But until I am able to stop eating meat completely it would be hypocritical of me to say that those who eat them are weird.
