The owners of the "Birch by Romeo Lane" nightclub in Goa, brothers Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, fled to Thailand following the deadly #fire that killed 25 people in December 2025. They were later deported to India, arrested, and jailed at Colvale Central Jail in Goa.+
Everyone is bullish on India until they start their own business and they need 15 papers of bhang bhosda and a current account just to integrate a payment gateway.
IF NOT US, WHO?
IF NOT NOW, WHEN !
I will be joining the CJP members in Delhi on 6th June if nothing changes by 5th June. Any self respecting Minister should resign if things go so wrong... Not to mention the effect on millions of young lives and in fact the future of India.

"If freedom of press is under threat in India how do you exist?" is the genius who'd ask
"If murder rates are increasing in xyz how are you still alive?"
"If the air is polluted to toxic levels why don't you have lung cancer?" & some such geniuses are minsters or journalists😏
The problem is that the Government is neither willing to acknowledge the economic crisis nor ready to face difficult questions. Just listen to Indian Express Senior Associate Editor Udit Misra for 4 mins only.
@rakeshjjwala@TradeWithGroww_@iManasArora@_groww He is a mentor to many known and unknown aspiring traders. His success and work ethic is public. He will be remembered. Meanwhile you're a nameless faceless ball-less troll calling him third class trader. You're disgusting.
85% of India's police are constables. The clerk is invisible to everyone — except the citizen who needs him.
Sociologist Lenski called it Status Inconsistency: high power, low rank. The strain turns outward. Onto you.
A 2021 study found low power breeds paranoia — which breeds aggression. That hostile window clerk isn't a bad person. He's a predictable product of a broken system.
The Police Act of 1861 still governs how a constable meets a citizen in 2025.
When I became DGP Haryana, I didn't start with training. I started with dignity. Wrote to every jawan in Hindi: "You are the most important rank. The citizen at your gate is having a difficult day. Offer them a chair."
It worked. Because these are good people inside a broken design.
But goodwill has a shelf life.
Georgia after Rose Revolution recruited anew, raised salaries, tied promotion to conduct. Within 6 years — per Princeton's research — their police ranked 3rd most trusted institution in the country, after church and army.
The lesson isn't training. It's incentives.
Reward dignity. Recognise integrity. Link promotion to conduct.
Give them something to gain by being good. That's the reform. Everything else is noise.

There is no republic and no constitution, if magistrates don’t hold the state to account on matters of liberty. The majesty of courts, the respect, the exalted status is to do justice, not to look over at which side the executive breeze is blowing.
Every judge who heard this case and played with procedure, will have their day of reckoning for cases like this and many others. Not everyday will chapters be deleted from text books.
If TV anchors had any idea of where the stock market would go hereon, they wouldn't be TV anchors to begin with. They would be minting money with that insight.
Clearly, if you are still listening to them, it's your fault.
