Manager Returned Gold Ornament of Customer that customer had left by mistake in bank.

A customer had visited Bank to operate locker and by mistake left a gold ornament in Bank. The manager called the customer back to branch and returned the gold ornament to him.

The Finance Ministry recently said that PSBs are giving very little loans to industries like manufacturing and mining, which create jobs. In the last 5 years, loans to these sectors grew only 1.3%, while more money went to farming, retail, and finance companies.

So on one side, the government wants PSBs to help the economy grow and support industries, but at the same time, it also wants them to show more profit and beat private banks.

But the reality for employees inside PSBs is very different:
🔘They face huge pressure to achieve targets.
🔘Seniors often show harsh behaviour.
🔘There is no work–life balance.
🔘Stress has become so bad that cases of heart attacks and suicides among bankers are rising.

This creates a big question:
👉 Does the government want PSBs to focus only on profits, or on nation building and people’s welfare?
👉 How can banks grow if the employees themselves are breaking down?
