Socialist politicians are usually power hungry zealots steeped in hypocrisy. They verbally express their abhorrence towards capitalism, consumerism and accumulation of wealth. But as their power and position grows you see them unabashedly consuming and accumulating!

The previous government firmly showed communists their place when they made unreasonable demands on Samsung.

From 1920 to 1980, Venezuela was actually the fastest-growing economy of the entire twentieth century, with a GDP per capita growth of 6.4 per cent per annum.

All this destroyed by socialism, whose policies turned Venezuela into the biggest humanitarian crisis in the western hemisphere.

From 2013 to the present, Venezuela has lost over 75% of its GDP.

Poverty rose to 80%, while extreme poverty increased to 50%.

This is the legacy of policies like currency controls, systematic expropriations and an overall anti-business agenda.

$34.9B cost to businesses and local government to pay $30 minimum wage.
