Socialist politicians are usually power hungry zealots steeped in hypocrisy. They verbally express their abhorrence towards capitalism, consumerism and accumulation of wealth. But as their power and position grows you see them unabashedly consuming and accumulating!
The same suggestion I share with every government: If you yield to the pressure of communists, no real progress is possible. They seem to admire and thrive on poverty.
The previous government firmly showed communists their place when they made unreasonable demands on Samsung.
For any good initiative, you can be sure of noise from the left. Never yield to them. It would be never ending.
Socialism is when you take £10,000 from one productive person who works & give £1,000 to 10 people who do not work, and then blame the one productive person for all the country’s problems so the 10 people will vote for you
Then the productive people leave & the system implodes on itself
Venezuela in the 1980s had a 75 percent literacy rate, AAA credit rating and was the country with the highest income per capita in the region.
From 1920 to 1980, Venezuela was actually the fastest-growing economy of the entire twentieth century, with a GDP per capita growth of 6.4 per cent per annum.
All this destroyed by socialism, whose policies turned Venezuela into the biggest humanitarian crisis in the western hemisphere.
From 2013 to the present, Venezuela has lost over 75% of its GDP.
Poverty rose to 80%, while extreme poverty increased to 50%.
This is the legacy of policies like currency controls, systematic expropriations and an overall anti-business agenda.
@sethharpesq So you really think you are smart enough to claim people like Elon Musk are not smart enough? Are you aware how stupid that makes you look? 😂 I think that you are that typical lowlife narcissist who thinks he is way smarter than he actually is.
It’s more accurate for the media to report socialist communist Zohran Mamdani’s free giveaway promises like this:
Taxpayers would pay $650M annually for free bus rides.
Taxpayers would pay $6 billion annually for free childcare.
$60 million for his five city-owned groceries.
$34.9B cost to businesses and local government to pay $30 minimum wage.
Socialism is like an all-you-can eat buffet where everyone eats for free — and you’re the only one who brought a wallet. His campaign slogan should be: ‘It’s on the house!’ — meaning your house.

Today, we’re announcing a major breakthrough that marks a significant step forward in the world of quantum computing. For the first time in history, our teams at @GoogleQuantumAI demonstrated that a quantum computer can successfully run a verifiable algorithm, 13,000x faster than leading classical supercomputers.
This continues to build momentum on past quantum computing discoveries. Back in 2019, we proved a quantum computer could solve a problem that would take a classical computer thousands of years. Then in 2024, our new Willow chip solved a major issue in quantum error correction that challenged the field for nearly 30 years. Today’s breakthrough moves us closer to quantum computers that can drive discoveries in areas like medicine and materials science.
They introduce policies in capitalist economies, and when that fails because it is unsustainable they blame capitalism! How smart of them and how dumb of us! Capitalism is based on numbers - most of the time; while socialism is based on unvalidated feelings.
I really admire socialists for their resilience. It doesn't matter how many times they fail or are proven wrong, and how many economies and peoples lives they wreck - they always bounce back with even more vigor to wreck the lives of millions more.
Today we introduced Gemini Enterprise, built with our most advanced Gemini models. It allows you to chat with your company’s documents, data and apps as well as build and deploy AI agents, all grounded in your information and context.
Have a look at how it helps you build an agent for almost anything:
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
Why hasn't retail petroleum price in India decreased after we started importing cheaper crude oil from Russia? @grok can you provide a detailed analysis?
Starting our open model drop series today with Sarvam-M. Looking forward to others building upon it! Much more coming soon…

Translation services are now common on phones, but another language barrier is being broken with Google Meet’s new real-time tools, revealed at #GoogleIO.
Given what Javier Milei has achieved in Argentina, does India need Civil Service officers? They are unelected yet wield a great deal of power - even more than MLAs, they do not go through a stringent performance review, and are totally out of touch with the average citizen.
