Keep hearing how #LongCovid debilitates people for "weeks or even months" as though it's just some time-limited, lingering health issues. Gross understatement. Many sufferers ill for 16+ months with no end in sight. 400,000 ill for 1 year+ (and rising). Characterise LC properly!

Today the BMA says “ Long Covid is beyond the capacity of GPs, It wants to see a service established in Wales outside of general practice”

@mrjamesob I had COVID in March 2020 & still suffering with major fatigue & no help available in Wales. My GP diagnosed me with #LongCovid on medical grounds as was unable to have a test last year, but said you can have a medical diagnosis due to NICE guidelines.

As mentioned above there is no plan for help for #LongCovid patients in Wales from @WelshGovernment the saving grace for sufferers has been the support groups @long_covid @LongCovidWales @LongCovidKids

@mrjamesob #LongCovid is serious. Many people are getting diagnosed with serious health issues after having COVID. @Doctor_IMF who’s a medic in Wales was suffering from fatigue & brain fog only to find out he has clots on the brain. @LongCovidWales
