@KaiLunt31259@ShadyWrecker@NinoSangani 22/23, same attack. Except we played direct, high-tempo football. Not slow build-up, quick on the counter, quick transitions. 23/24 onwards, it’s not that we became defensive; we shifted to controlled, possession-heavy play with systematic build-up and more reliance on set pieces
@treadytalksball@officialsteveee@NinoSangani He doesn’t have to carry us entirely. Just the threat of Vinicius will free up space for the entire team. More deliveries into the box means more goal scoring opportunities for our CFs. You also can’t just solely focus on stopping Vini because then Saka will go off. List goes on.
@treadytalksball@officialsteveee@NinoSangani I appreciate you checking out Nino’s post. If he reaches the upper range of your G/A estimate, he would be equaling what he’s already done this season. How can his max ceiling be what he’s already produced in a team that wasn’t built around him?
@treadytalksball@officialsteveee Again, it’s ridiculous to think that the system will be the same with Vini there. I urge you to read @NinoSangani report on Vinicius and how he’ll fit into the system. Please educate yourself before you make ridiculous comments.
@treadytalksball@officialsteveee 15-17 goals, greater than your previous tally of 10. Keep changing the numbers. 15-17 pl goals would be a great season, with the assists that he will get too. He will do well in the Prem, ridiculous to think that Arteta will try to force a system onto Vini that doesn’t suit him.
@treadytalksball@officialsteveee I mean, how stupid can you get. Second best league in the world, 20 g/a, scored crucial goals in the UCL, 10 G/A in the Champions league. In a system that Arteta can make, even Martinelli (who is a great player no doubt) can score 15 goals in the prem.
@Abbatiey34@5peatNel Why should they not at least consider it? Vini has given everything to Madrid, and Madrid have generally reciprocated that. He’s a Madridista through and through, but he should come to Arsenal where we will appreciate him for the world class player he is.
@nickmetreveli Obviously (and rightfully so) Vini’s heart is in Madrid. They have given him almost everything, supported him when no one would, and made him who he is today. So it’s understandable why this is complicated for him.
@AntiBarca2011 I don’t think they will. It’s completely unlike them. They let Ronaldo go because they didn’t want to meet his demands. Why would they not do the same for Vini?
