Big congratulations to Rebecca Seymour who presented at the @takingitglobal Showcase last night. Rebecca spoke on her poem that she wrote about what youth are doing to prevent the climate crisis.
This poem will be featured in @takingitglobal RiZine coming out soon 👏🏽💗

Our group was so grateful to receive a $1,500 grant from @takingitglobal to support those in need during the holidays☺️
Because of this grant we were able to buy grocery store gift cards,socks, hats,hygiene packs, and more to be delivered to teens in our area over the holidays🎄

Another successful trick-or-eat thanks to GBHS SJG🤍

We braced the weather yesterday and went out to collect canned goods for our local food bank and food cupboards.

Starting next Monday (the 27th) we’ll be hosting weekly meetings and kicking off another year of the Glace Bay High School Justice Group🌎 We meet at lunch in room 014! This group is run by youth for youth.💗

Thanks to @takingitglobal and #Risingyouth we were able to make care presents to donate to Christmas crew today 🎄🎁 We worked hard during lunch break today to package them all up so they’re ready for Christmas 🤍

We are SO thankful to be teaming up with @takingitglobal #RisingYouth to make Christmas a little brighter for youth in our community🤍 We’re getting started on our Christmas project! We can’t wait to share more updates within the next week☺️☺️
