@scottcoleman55 No denying the optics don’t look great from a PED standpoint but it could be more related to swing mechanics.

His LA is up to 16.7 vs 13.4 in ‘24 which has led to fewer line drives and more lazy fly balls. His LD rate is down 9% and his pop up rate is up almost 8%.

@scottcoleman55 He’s used his cutter a lot more since joining the Braves. W/ Pit & Min he was 48/32 FB vs FC. Now, he’s 41/41. It’d be a bigger split if he didn’t use it less vs TX. It was 50% + in his first two outings and was back up to 45% today.
