3.8.0 starts moving them to W3C design tokens. A button background points at the brand button color, the chain resolves at render, and a broken link is skipped and logged instead of breaking the page.

The Style Library sets colors, type, spacing, borders, shadows and block presets once, and Kadence blocks follow them in the editor and on the front end.
