I teach English at a very pleasant inner city London school. My main passion is Arsenal Football Club, (season ticket holder) . I also enjoy playing golf.
To the Arsenal haters: Iβm glad that you have found a new way to enjoy football since your own club has left you depressed and utterly miserable!!!ππ
There are certain aspects of football still in the dark ages: The impact of the crowd in a penalty shoot out needs reviewing! Whilst the break before penalties are taken, the goalposts should be moved to the half way line. It should take max 15 minutes to remark the surface!
@Amin22Hussain You are struggling to deal with the fact that we are PL Champions, hold that!!!
We lost on a lottery called a penalty shoot out! Hold that!!!
The naive fans who bought into the narrative that Arsenal were not going to win the PL are now hiding their embarrassment by sparking a new narrative about set-pieces are boring football to discredit a possible PL title. Shameless!!
Another narrative that they are setting up is about Arsenal winning the quadruple, so that if we fail, they can devalue any other trophy that we win by mocking the fact that we didn't win the quadruple!!! Slimy losers!!!
The person who decided to put out a statement about Maresca lacking "emotional maturity" is indeed ironically emotionally immature themselves for making such a classless statement in public. Pathetic attempt to humiliate Maresca!!!
Given that most teams know how to exploit set pieces to good effect, I cannot understand why referees, who have never played the game, play advantage when teams would settle for a free kick instead.
The season cannot go on with refs blatantly cheating! This ref acted like he missed the elbow into the face in the opening minutes setting the trend for the catalogue of dodgy decisions!
I have seen evidence of breaches of the new rule, with no punishment, which stipulates that only captains can approach referees. Let's see what happens if an Arsenal player approaches the ref today!!
There is already evidence of poor officiating from Game 1 when the Bournemouth player escaped a clear red vs Liverpool because of incompetence. I fear Arsenal will continue to bear the brunt of comedy officials !!!
The theme of dodgy decisions again Arsenal continue throughout the season with a scandalous penalty given to Everton. At least PGMOL are consistent in that respect!!π
Jamie Carragher's vile racist attitude was clear for all to see when he said AFCON wasn't an important tournament. However, his subtle racism will go unpunished because SKY is probably institutionally racist!
