@TomasBogardus Got mine yesterday. I’m now halfway through. An hour ago I held the developmental pathway view, not anymore. I was fine thinking early embryos had no sex, but as you point out, given the authority of how biologists talk, that seems wrong. Thanks for helping me see this.
@PAHoyeck Probably 2 (gives Buddhist critiques of the traditional arguments for God), 4 (gives Buddhist presentation of the PoE and replies to defenses), or 8 (gives a Buddhist perspective on exclusives and pluralism).
@PAHoyeck This might not work given how fast you have to put it together. But for future reference Arvind Sharma’s Philosophy of Religion: A Buddhist Perspective does a great job this.

Atheism is simply the lack of belief in a God. It is not a belief system that says "men can give birth" or "skin tone determines life."
I'm an atheist and don't believe either of those things.
Woke nonsense ≠ atheism
@TomVMorris Happy Birthday, Tom! My wife and I are enjoying your new book with Gregory Bassham on Stoicism. Thanks for all your wonderful scholarship over the years!
