@MichaelKellyIC One simple way to do this would be to go back to books that could be passed on. What was wrong with Soundings for example? Why do we need a new expensive poetry book every year?
@ProfKAArmstrong I am glad that in primary school she was able to identify shortcomings in the education system and thatcherism in general. I only learned how to read and do maths.
@ChristophHeilig Neither but I usually say 'you are welcome' as it acknowledges that what you did took effort but you are welcome to that effort. 'No problem' might lead someone to think it cost you nothing in time or money.
@medievalgill I had to give my cat medicine a year ago and he never forgave me and moved in with a family two doors up - but still comes back here to be fed!!
@DamienMcC_dli@McConalogue And what exactly are the government doing? Building runways and increasing the capacity for huge cruise ships in Dublin. Far and away the biggest polluters in the planet.
@rfwalsh86@DavQuinn@RTENewsAtOne That's not what will happen. The big farmers will get bigger. No emissions will be reduced because the new runway and the bigger cruise ship Dock in Dublin will wipe all of that out so we will be even more dependent on outside forces
