WATCH: A Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (D-ABPQ) sustained substantial damage after its nose landing gear collapsed while parked at the gate at Frankfurt Airport.
The incident led to the cancellation of today's LH450 to LAX service as airport and airline teams assess the extent of the damage. Video from the scene shows the aircraft resting on its nose after the front landing gear unexpectedly gave way while stationary.
No injuries have been reported, but a technical investigation into the cause of the collapse has been opened.
Pune's garbage collection system is facing a massive crisis, and the reason behind it is absolutely shocking. Out of over 10,000 workers assigned to keep our city clean, only about 40% are actually doing their jobs on the ground. A detailed internal report by the solid waste management department reveals that around 450 to 500 sanitation workers are allegedly deployed at the private residences of political leaders, including MLAs, corporators, and former office-bearers. Instead of cleaning the streets, these municipal employees are reportedly being used for personal duties like housekeeping and driving, all while drawing their full salaries from the taxpayer-funded PMC budget.
What makes it worse is that this isn't a new issue. The investigation shows that some workers have been completely absent from their original cleaning postings for 5 to 10 years. Even though a detailed report on this mess was submitted to senior civic officials last year, political pressure and frequent transfers of senior officers have successfully delayed any concrete action. With the city's cleanliness visibly suffering, PMC Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram has now stepped in and ordered a strict verification process, promising that anyone found guilty of exploiting the system will face consequences.

Pashan Lake is a symptom of how democracy has failed its citizens in India.
The elected representatives and govt bureaucracy decides what they will work on with complete disregard to what citizens want.
I have no idea how we can get the govt machinery work for citizens.
(I have tagged to elected representatives earlier, but apparently, they don't acknowledge complaints of an average nobody like me.)

50% of all relationship advice on Reddit is “leave.” 15 years of data, 52 million comments, and the trend line only goes one direction.
A researcher filtered r/relationship_advice down to 1,166,592 quality comments and tracked what people actually recommend. In 2010, “End Relationship” sat around 30%. By 2025, it’s approaching 50%.
“Communicate” dropped from 22% to 14%. “Compromise” collapsed from 7% to 3%. “Give Space” fell from 25% to 13%. Every category that requires patience lost ground every single year.
The one category growing faster than “leave” is “Seek Therapy,” which went from 1% to 6%. The subreddit is slowly learning to say “this is above my pay grade.”
Train a model on this dataset and it would absolutely tell people to break up. The training data is 50% “leave” and climbing. The model wouldn’t be broken. It would be accurately reflecting what 52 million commenters actually believe about your relationship.
A 50% prior that you should leave, a 14% prior that you should talk about it, and a 6% prior that you need a professional. That’s not LLM psychosis. That’s the median human opinion on your relationship, backed by the largest advice dataset ever assembled.
I must confess that until recently I had never heard of Phool Dei, a spring festival that was celebrated yesterday in the villages of Uttarakhand.
Children gather fresh flowers from the hills and go from house to house placing them on doorsteps, offering a blessing for the household:
“Phool Dei, Chhamma Dei,
Deni Dwar, Bhar Bhakar…” roughly wishing the home prosperity.
In return they receive sweets.
It reminded me a little of Halloween in the U.S., where children go door to door saying “trick or treat.” But what a lovely contrast. Here the children arrive not threatening a prank, or asking first, but giving first. Flowers.
In an age when we speak so much about environmental consciousness, this graceful celebration of spring and nature deserves to be far more widely known.
Just as Holi travelled across India and the world, perhaps Phool Dei should too.
For me, the children of Uttarakhand are my #MondayMotivation

At Khairatabad junction, while the city rushes, Hyderabad’s traffic police stand in the harsh glare of headlights asking one simple thing — switch to low beam.
Led by Hyderabad Traffic Police Cyberabad Police Officers, this drive is about saving lives.
High beams from powerful white LEDs can blind an oncoming rider for crucial seconds, hide pedestrians, and turn well-lit roads into danger zones — especially for cyclists and walkers.
On city roads, high beam is not strength. It is risk. And it is a punishable offence under Section 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
What they are doing is not just enforcement, it is a prevention for fewer crashes, safer junctions and a more humane city.
Salute to the officers who stand in traffic so the rest of us reach home safely.

Rajeev Jain, CEO, Bajaj Finance, on Q3 Concall on the Impact of AI –
“AI listened to 2 Cr calls, converted voice to text, and gave us data. Text-to-data conversion happened for 5.2 lakh customers. As a result, we generated 100,000 new offers for which we did not have information earlier.
“This capability did not exist in Q1 and Q2. It just got deployed. We’ll be able to listen to 100 million calls next year,” said Jain. He added that loan disbursements through AI-powered call centres stood at about Rs 1,600 crore. That’s ~ 10% of the Rs 16,545 Cr of disbursals in Q3FY26
Data converting -- data from those calls led to another INR 325 crores of volumes. So, this is just our first attempt.
Over the next six months, Bajaj Finance plans to invest heavily in its agents. The company expects to have more than 800 autonomous agents across sales, operations, HR, IT, risk, and DMS in the next fiscal.
Similarly, in terms of 100% of videos are now generated by us using AI, 100% of banners are generated using AI, 2.7 lakh videos were generated, and 1.2 lakh banners were generated. At the customer engagement level, we have 11 AI text BOTs that are live that engage with the customer. So rather than sending dumb SMSs for 11 products now, we have an AI text BOT, which allows you to engage, interact, and respond to your queries.
The company has 26 products. All 26 will be live between April and May'26. So, there will be no communication that we'll be sending, which will not have a -- whether service or sales, which will not have a conversational BOT embedded in it.
At the branch and point of sale, existing customers face match that we're doing, we did 46 million face matches to ensure this is the same customer, if it's an ETB customer who had actually principally come in, giving us much better control over identity.
Customer onboarding in terms of document -- ensuring that auto-fill of the document happens, whether it's a PAN card or an Aadhaar. There are 43 such documents that the company has now mapped, which an image extracts with a 95% - 96% accuracy and populate data in our platforms, delivering significant productivity for our employees.
Auto quality check of documents is now 41%. As we sharpen the model, it will take us to between 85% and 90% over a period of the next 15-odd months
On technology development, we are clearly seeing between 25% - 45% efficiencies emerging in terms of the development process, depending on whether it's a legacy platform, then the benefit is much lower, or rather, I would say, none. But if it's a digital infrastructure, then the efficiencies can be as high as 45% - 47%. So significant work is being done.
