@aled_fellowes @nqpcharlie Because any more annual leave would mean the resourcing levels would be too low. It seems that whenever you try and book it, it makes the levels too low, yet trusts aren’t recruiting any staff due to their financial positions. It makes booking leave virtually impossible

It’s absolutely disgusting that these behaviours have and still continue to occur within the ambulance service. This article shows how systemic these issues and cultures are and we all have a duty to change this. No colleague or patient should have to question their own safety.

Working for @enhanced_c_s today, at one of the Wimbledon sites they are providing medical cover for. Taking the time to catch up on a presentation by @nazirafzal that I’ve desperately been waiting for to appear on the @ParamedicsUK CPDhub. An inspiring watch to say the least.

@chrisMcG4 I wouldn’t say any professional truly ‘owns’ their profession anymore. Everyone is trying their hand at something different, which is great. However, there’s no denying paramedics have led the way in the pre-hospital field. Just like nurses have ‘in-hospital’

Had a great day in London yesterday, working with and learning from a fantastic team! So beneficial as a student to be able to learn about presentations and conditions that wouldn’t ordinarily be seen on ambulance placements.
