Currently when camera facing direct sunlight FSD will shut down, need a camera that simulates human eye pupils to have this issue resolved, I put parking lines similar to parking in my garage for FSD to recognize parking spots in my garage, when bright sunlight outside, camera just can’t see parking lines in the garage, but in the evening it can see, so camera technology must be improved to have a unsupervised FSD.

@vladtenev I recently transferred stock in my IRA to robinhood from Merrill Edge but cost basis missing in Robinhood and Robinhood support told me they can not fix this issue even I provided cost basis from Merrill Edge. This is not acceptable. I am thinking to move away from Robinhood due to this issue,

@elonmusk @SawyerMerritt Not sure if Tesla is working on acamera that can simulate human eye pupil? Right now a direct sunlight can shut off FSD. How can it do none supervised? Camera today just too far away from what human eyes can do.

Chuck, I have a model Y with FSD V 13.2.2, but at least once when it stopped at red light, and after few seconds it started to move to forward. Trying to run the red light. I had to stop it. I attached pictures to show the proof that I have the software. Also the day before I got the newest update. Almost got a crush. (see this video https://t.co/VLKMrszHu7)

I love FSD for sure. But still need to be watchful.

It’s frustrating that every time when I go back home from work I have to edit the route because I don’t want the route that Tesla selected. Not sure why there is not a feature request site for Tesla customers to post requests and vote. I think the “user defined route” probably will be on the top. Any one can ask @elonmusk ?

When Tesla FSD can let me save my preferred route? Think about every body has very limited route to go in daily life. (Except ride share). FSD should learn from my personal driving. Now, I have to change Tesla picked route every day when I going from work to home. @elonmusk @Tesla

Tesla full self driving FSD should use a rental model, ex my daily going to work or driving in my local area (limited by area on map) charge may be $30 a month, if I want to take a long trip, then charge by mileage or ??? So people don’t need to pay $8000 out of pocket. I think you get the idea. Not that many want to pay too much to get started. I paid $12000 upfront because of necessity.@elonmusk @Tesla

@Tesla @cybertruck Why Tesla not add a car roof solar kit to charge the car all the time when there is sunshine over the car? May be not worth the investment? Or have a solar panel body? Some other car manufacturers offer that option ex. Fisker Ocean, Toyota Prius prime, … etc
