Your tax policy is actively forcing me to choose a gas-guzzling Plug-in Hybrid because it's £150 cheaper annually than the lower emission EV I want.

📉 EV Tax: £495/yr vs. PHEV Tax: £345/yr (at 10k miles).

I forgot to add year one VED, EV still working out more expensive by £200 over two years.

Assuming that the PHEV battery range is sufficient for ordinary commuting.
