You can't say "male violence is a huge problem" while also saying "the real danger are males in Group A, not Group B" and then going on to say "any male who says he is in Group B has to be automatically believed and if you disagree with him *you're* the problem".
the news:
- 3 women murdered by an ex with a crossbow
- Tampons have arsenic & lead in them
- 80% of all Autoimmune diseases in women due to the role they play societally
- Men abusing women goes up 38% when England lose
the internet:
has feminism gone too far?
I was parking this morning (it’s a pay by phone carpark, you can’t pay card or cash), a visibly upset woman asked me how she could pay as she has no mobile. In the end I paid for her on my phone and she gave me cash. She said ‘I have to be at my daughter’s inquest in ten minutes’
Blimey.
Just back from my LP branch meeting. Not the best night for it, but a good turnout and a *really intense* debate on sex and gender. The 'GC' side won: 'clarify the EA' and the leaning of "sex" the main point. But my reflections...
@hatpinwoman I think it’s useful to know when a sick murderer seemed “nice and normal” to those around him. It’s a very useful reminder that dangerous men don’t look like cartoon villains, and that you shouldn’t assume you can trust a man just because he dresses well and puts on a good act.
@hnelson394@ask_aubry It’s recommended to breast feed for AT LEAST 12 months, and preferably 2 years. This is the biological norm among humans. Children throughout history were breastfed that long before (nutritionally inferior) formula milk started being pushed, for profit.
The use of puberty blockers has been halted in Scotland.
Our government chose a nice, quiet news day to slip out the announcement that they'll be implementing the recommendations of the #CassReview.
@AlexSmith90014@TransHomophobes 100%. It’s the only explanation. Caring about someone, Putting your arm around them, kissing them on the cheek or forehead, these are all things we might also do with our with friends, parents, children… they don’t seem to understand that sex is VERY DIFFERENT.
This just arrived and I think it's too important to sit on overnight. The only thing I've changed is the name of the woman who wrote it.
"Dear Graham and team,
Thank you for your commitment to women's rights and all of your work. We are incredibly grateful. We are a women's group, many of us are in minimum wage roles and we have been keeping an eye on changes in our workplaces.
We are sharing this with you (and other women who we believe can help) because this cannot be tied back to our group. The members of our group who this will affect cannot afford to lose our jobs.
We have recently discovered that Tesco's have amended their toilet policy for colleagues and based on discussions with people higher up in Tesco's it has been stated that this policy extends to customers. Tesco toilets now operate on a self-id basis.
No changes have been made to mens toilets. Such that there are no bins or period products. This accommodation is one way.
Though the policy below says it has been in place since 2022 it has not. This policy change was not openly shared with colleagues, colleagues were not consulted and there is no evidence that an EIA has been carried out. The only women's space in stores no longer exists. We have canvassed Tesco's stores in 3 of our nearest cities and a large proportion of the staff are muslim women, many of whom did not know about this change in policy.
With regards to the extent of this policy (attached below), it should be noted that:
There is no enforced policy for colleague protection for any other staff. In our group alone members have been spat at, threatened (physically and verbally), and harassed. Tesco's has not acted in their protection on any occasion. One of our group was stalked around the store by an angry male, the managers just looked the other way.
Please help to get this out into public awareness.
Kind Regards,
Sarah
@salltweets@VicGovAu Unsafe doesn’t mean what you and I think it means.
Neither do violence, genocide or woman.
They have a different dictionary.
“Unsafe” in woke troon speak means “rejected”.
He feels rejected. How dare she!
@CConcern When you need to print "DO NOT REMOVE THIS SIGN" on your workplace sign. Twice. You need to question whether it's in the best interests of your staff.
This poster appeared on the Darlington nurses' changing room this week. A changing room where nurses have had panic attacks after having to undress in front of a biological male identifying as a woman who openly says he is trying to get his girlfriend pregnant.
When they complained, they were told by management they needed 'educating' and had to 'broaden their mindset.'
The poster was also visible to members of the public and patients. Is this acceptable @Keir_Starmer@wesstreeting@RosieDuffield1 ?
@redlianak You lot never actually address the points made, do you? Have you thought to wonder why that is? Do YOU think a rape victim who wants female-only care should be allowed to have it, or shamed for asking for it?
@d_overlord@Rob_ThaBuilder@redlianak “TERFs” being women who don’t accept transwomen are 100% women in every single context, including a huge number who fit the description JKR gave, or who are in this fight because we have empathy for those people.
A woman has called in to LBC (I assume, I’m in a cab) to say she received her postal vote ballot and it didn’t mention Sunak or Starmer and was just for a local election. So basically she doesn’t understand how elections work.
