Hey @NCDot - this is at your Huntersville DMV location. As I read the town ordinance this obstructed view of the stop sign is a violation. You may want to cut that tree back and stop failing kids for missing something you are responsible for providing clear lines of site to.
@Seth_3773 Unnecessary level of contact to be sure, but if he slides in hard feet first that's ankle break territory and you wouldn't like that either.
@jenteach13@bobbythesweeper Get rid of the "state tests" and let teachers teach. Pay them more but based on performance, reinstitute actual disciplinary measures for disruptive behavior in classrooms. Win!
@benelli14597445@ericlister@PGordonPBR Not as simple as "did the kid get hurt" - at 160 pitches on a weekend there is wear and tear that will accumulate over the course of a season. So yes, there was damage done, regardless of if the kid showed immediate discomfort.
@alexcmartin_@RGIII MC should hang a banner of their own making. They know they won on the track, the resulting "State Champs" know they didn't win, the NCHSAA knows MC won. Winning on a technicality is weak, at very best.
@scott_fowler Disagree on the co-Champion argument. Everyone involved, the athletes, the schools, the officials, the NCHSAA know who actually won on the track, why pretend? MC should hang a banner regardless, they are the ones that earned the right. Winning on a technicality is still losing.
@TomGregorybivl@LanceMcAlister When ABS can do a 3d zone as specified in the rule book you have an argument. As it is tho ABS probably misses as many as the naked eye because the entire front half of the plate is now out of play.
@wjeffpetty 12u playing @ 60ft is ridiculous, so let's start there. 12 should play on 70ft with leads (a max lead line is fine). Below 12u is silly, but it's a preference and you can play little league if that's your thing.
